What you will do

  • Contribute to real-world engineering projects and complete assigned technical tasks.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering decisions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
  • Attend planning meetings and support project requirements, timelines, and team objectives.
  • Perform hands-on technical work in laboratory or workshop environments.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support best-practice implementation.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
  • Current sophomore, junior, or senior student in a university, college, or technical school, with at least six months remaining until graduation after the internship ends.
  • Enrollment in an Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree program.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to work with computers, tools, and technical equipment, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work around noise or hazardous conditions.

Nice to have

  • Previous technical or engineering internship experience.
  • Familiarity with the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD or MATLAB and experience with Microsoft Access.
