Fire Risk Assessor

Location: UK field-based role, available in the West Midlands

Salary: From £42,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a company vehicle

What you will do

• Conduct fire risk assessments across commercial, industrial, and public-sector environments.
• Identify fire hazards and assess risks against current legislation, standards, and best-practice guidance.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to help clients manage fire safety responsibilities.
• Escalate high-risk concerns where appropriate.
• Produce, review, and quality-check detailed fire risk assessment reports.

Requirements

• Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
• Registration with a recognised professional body such as IFE, IFSM, or FRACS.
• Full driving licence valid for use in the UK.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in fire risk assessing.
• Strong technical knowledge, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate.
