Special Security Technician - Physical Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Stafford, Virginia, United States. The role requires travel within the continental and outside the continental United States and a TS/SCI clearance.

Salary: $100,00–$104,000 annually.

What you will do

• Support physical security, SCIF security requirements, crime prevention, and protection of personnel, facilities, and property.
• Assist with security policy formulation, development, evaluation, and internal procedure updates.
• Participate in antiterrorism programs and community working groups focused on security policy and awareness.
• Draft security policies, correspondence, briefings, presentations, white papers, and detailed recommendations for Government review.
• Evaluate project-related security issues and provide security education, awareness materials, field-office assistance, and staff support.
• Monitor and update the DCSA Correspondence and Task Management System, ServiceNow, and other assigned systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–10 years of related experience, including industrial security or U.S. military experience.
• Experience with SCIF life-cycle projects, construction, and inspections for accreditation.
• Knowledge of the ICD 705 series and DoDM 5105.21, plus working knowledge of physical, personnel, information, technical, transmission, and security incident requirements.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 25 pounds while conducting physical examinations and security inspections in SCIFs.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
