Security Assistant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide security support for collateral and, when required, Sensitive Compartmented Information programs.
• Manage and operate secure facilities, secure spaces, and classified meeting environments.
• Support Physical Security, Information Security, Operations Security, anti-terrorism, and force protection activities.
• Process classified mail, packages, Visitor Access Requests, visit certifications, clearance records, and access authorizations.
• Maintain security procedures, DD Form 254s, OPSEC plans, emergency action plans, transportation plans, and other documentation.
• Support inspections, corrective action tracking, secure video teleconferencing, classified meetings, security briefings, and training.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required at the time of hire and must be maintained.
• Seven years of directly related experience, including three years in a Department of Defense setting, is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, record-keeping, and independent task-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based systems, cost and performance management, agile methods, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps.
• Knowledge of DoD and Air Force acquisition, program management, security policies, and procedures.
• Experience with secure room and facility management, PHYSEC, INFOSEC, PERSEC, CUI handling, VAR processing, and SVTC/VTC support.
