Sr Fleet Parts Specialist (Utility)

Location: Minneapolis, MN, 55403; office-based position

Salary: $29.40–$47.00 per hour

What you will do

• Manage inventory levels using usage trends, min/max settings, demand patterns, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Source OEM and aftermarket parts, identify alternatives, track critical orders, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide technical parts guidance for engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical systems, and utility equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery, shortage, order, and quality issues while tracking vendor performance.
• Analyze parts usage, spend, stock levels, and availability; prepare reports and recommend inventory adjustments.
• Improve parts ordering, stocking, distribution, documentation, and inventory-control processes across multiple fleet maintenance locations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Automotive Technology, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8+ years of experience in fleet parts, inventory management, or procurement.
• Experience with heavy-duty vehicles, equipment, or utility fleets.
• Advanced experience with fleet parts and equipment systems, including the ability to interpret parts data and adjust inventory levels.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in the Minneapolis office based on the position’s responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with fleet or asset management systems.
• Experience in utility, construction, or heavy equipment environments.
• Advanced Excel or data analysis skills.
