Fleet Parts and Inventory Assistant (Fleet Inventory)

What you will do

• Maintain parts availability, receive and stock parts, and dispense them to mechanics according to company and local procedures.
• Maintain fleet inventory records, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance data.
• Enter fleet information into the computerized fleet management system and produce productivity and usage reports.
• Prepare truck purchase orders, assign general ledger codes, process transactions in ePro, and coordinate with vendors and accounting.
• Reconcile Dossier financial data with the Lawson general ledger and review invoices for accuracy and payment.
• Support the Fleet Manager by analyzing fleet operations reports, identifying trends and outliers, resolving data errors, and escalating issues when needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of general office experience or equivalent training.
• Related experience in the maintenance or trucking industry.
• Ability to manage inventory records, purchase orders, maintenance data, and operational reports.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
