Associate Director, Leadership Development and Skills Enablement (Biopharma)

Location: Remote/Home-Based, Philadelphia, PA; US-based candidates only. The role requires 50–60% travel.

Salary: $156,000–$234,000 annual base pay for US-based candidates, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the enterprise learning strategy and global curricula for emerging, first-line, and senior leaders.
• Develop customer-centric skills models for sales, medical, and market access field roles.
• Design and scale programs covering coaching, strategic decision-making, performance management, and leading through change.
• Partner with Medical, Market Access, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and Data & Enablement leaders.
• Use data and insights to strengthen leadership decisions and team coaching.
• Establish measurement frameworks for learning effectiveness, skills adoption, behavior change, and organizational impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, organizational psychology, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, HR, or relevant field-based leadership roles.
• At least 2 years of experience developing and delivering training using adult learning principles and distance learning methodologies.
• Experience developing skills models and leading cross-functional capability-building initiatives.
• Knowledge of leadership development frameworks, competency modeling, field-team operations, product operating models, and commercial or medical data concepts.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms, virtual training tools, Microsoft Office, training metrics, and learning-impact measurement.

Nice to have

• Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, or another highly regulated industry.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA or MS in Organizational Development.
