Machine Operator I (Manufacturing)

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $19.50 per hour; night shift includes a $2.00 shift premium.

What you will do

• Set up and operate production machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions.
• Use measuring tools to verify product quality and accuracy.
• Clean machinery, perform basic preventive maintenance, and report equipment or quality issues.
• Follow safety procedures, support production goals, and cross-train across work areas and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and levels.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, reliability, and teamwork.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred.
