Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

  • Design and develop advanced DC/DC converter products using proprietary technologies.
  • Develop converter and magnetics designs, analog circuits, component selections, simulations, tests, and PCB layouts.
  • Lead product design and development from conception through manufacturing production.
  • Define product functional specifications and oversee complete product documentation.
  • Interface with internal organizations and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of power electronics design experience with AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, VRMs, or bus converters.
  • Extensive knowledge of high-frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures.
  • Experience with high-frequency magnetics, power conversion circuit design and analysis, circuit simulation, PCB layout considerations, feedback control theory, EMC compliance, and logic/interface circuit design.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to model complex electrical problems.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
