QA Technician 1 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite in a manufacturing and cleanroom environment. Regular schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 6:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m.

Salary: $19.30–$25.36 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Perform probe card manufacturing activities including photolithography, thin film processing, etching, plating, assembly, testing, and visual and mechanical inspection.
• Operate manufacturing equipment according to standard work instructions and process controls.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor operating and equipment data, support process adjustments, and report irregularities.
• Assist engineering teams with tests, experiments, pilot runs, and new product development activities.
• Share knowledge with peers and support basic task training and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience.
• No formal occupational training is typically required.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and manufacturing environment while using required PPE.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, operate equipment, handle chemicals, and work around precision instruments.
• Skills in communication, computer literacy, mathematics, microscopy, problem solving, statistics, and independent work.
