First Article/CMM Technician

Location: Hollis, New Hampshire, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Pay rate: $25–$30+ per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Perform variable and attribute inspections using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and optical measuring equipment.
• Verify product dimensions against customer drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Prepare and update First Article Inspection reports with dimensional and attribute data according to AS9102.
• Update CMM programs for dimensional verification of repeat part numbers.
• Perform customer-required testing for product acceptance.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to identify root causes and corrective actions for high dimensional rejection rates.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar Quality Assurance role.
• Experience using calibrated measuring instruments, from hand tools to optical measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret customer prints and specifications.
• Understanding of GD&T principles and detail-oriented data collection and reporting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work onsite in Hollis, New Hampshire.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a cleanroom.
• Ability to write CMM programs in VB/QVE after training.
• Working knowledge of DISCUS or NETINPECT.
