Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Aurora, Ohio, USA; onsite, first shift Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Salary: $20–$25 per hour plus benefits

What you will do

• Process mesh fabric into semi-finished and finished products through slitting, cutting, stapling, mold pressing, and assembly.
• Read work orders, scan bar codes, select raw materials, and configure machinery according to product specifications.
• Operate slitters, rewinders, klicker or guillotine cutters, mold presses, staplers, band saws, drill presses, and table saws.
• Trim, stack, pack, seal, label, and palletize finished products.
• Record material usage, production quantities, rejected material, and labor information for each work order.
• Notify supervisors about machine malfunctions or other barriers to meeting production requirements.

Requirements

• One year of manufacturing or machine operation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Ability to read and apply basic drawings, perform basic mathematical calculations, and work with measurements.
• Working knowledge of hand-operated and power tools, industrial equipment, and production processes.
• Precision, manual dexterity, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to meet hourly production requirements.
• Basic computer skills for recording labor hours, accessing materials information, and using ADP Employee Self Service.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work onsite in Aurora, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
• Experience with cross-training in other departments.
