Licensed Customer Service Representative - Ft. Myers, FL

Location: Ft. Myers, Florida, United States; onsite office role. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., plus Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.; four weekday hours may be taken off or paid as overtime.

Salary: $23.00–$25.50 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Support members with insurance inquiries, product features, payments, renewals, billing, eligibility, and coverage questions.
• Process applications, new business, policy changes, endorsements, amendments, transfers, reinstatements, cancellations, and other policy transactions.
• Prepare insurance quotes, apply underwriting rules and eligible discounts, complete sales, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Promote insurance, membership, financial, credit card, travel, and life products and refer customers to agents when appropriate.
• Conduct retention and outbound service calls regarding delinquent memberships, late premiums, reinstatements, and cancellations.
• Support office events and local community activities that increase member awareness and generate insurance revenue.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
• Ability to qualify for, obtain, and maintain all required state licenses and appointments.
• Clear communication with coworkers and the public, accurate mathematical calculations, and professional customer service.
• Ability to process monetary transactions, maintain accurate records, use insurance or membership systems, and work with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, handle high-volume customer service, complete required training within six months, and work weekends, holidays, and community events.
