Specialist, Consulting Operations (Power BI)

Location: Full-time telecommute position; must reside within the U.S. The role supports various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. and may require domestic travel to the Chicago, Illinois company location up to once per year.

Salary: $85,904–$90,904 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Gather business requirements and translate them into BI analyses, dashboards, data models, reports, and data extracts.
• Develop and maintain reporting in Power BI, Tableau, GoodData, and Excel for project health, profitability, data quality, metrics, and invoicing.
• Maintain Workday–Kantata integrations, manage error logs, and resolve issues with domain support teams.
• Monitor production data quality and report availability, triage alerts, and resolve issues in line with business SLAs.
• Provide ad hoc data pulls, exports, cost and bill rate comparisons, project-hours analyses, and profitability reporting.
• Improve bulk uploads and reporting efficiency by automating Kantata templates and processes with Power Query.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Analytics or a directly related field.
• At least three years of experience developing Power BI or Tableau reports and dashboards, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• At least three years of experience with Microsoft Excel, advanced formulas, pivot tables, SQL extraction and transformation, and ETL processes.
• At least three years of experience with data integrity, governance, validation rules, data quality monitoring, and data stewardship documentation.
• At least three years of experience diagnosing reporting and data issues, communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and supporting PSA platforms.
• Must reside within the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
