TL;DR
Manager - Data & Analytics (SQL/Data Platforms): Leading the development of integrated data solutions, pipelines, analytical environments, and self-service BI capabilities with an accent on enterprise data architecture, data quality, and hands-on consulting. Focus on designing scalable data models and pipelines, translating complex business challenges into actionable plans, and coordinating projects and stakeholders through deployment.
Location: Anywhere in the USA; fully remote

What you will do
- Lead hands-on development using SQL and occasionally Python, data visualization tools, and data modeling platforms.
- Design, deploy, and continuously optimize end-to-end data pipelines and analytical environments using cloud data technologies.
- Lead projects and teams through setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate workshops, executive-level meetings, and project status updates with client stakeholders.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, support user satisfaction, and contribute to mentorship, recruitment, and practice growth.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in consulting or data-focused roles.
- 5+ years of project management, implementation, system integration, and SDLC experience in Agile environments.
- Expert-level SQL experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, or MS SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with self-service BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience designing and building relational databases and/or data warehouses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience in Media & Entertainment or Consumer Products.
- Experience at a large consulting firm.
- Cloud computing experience with AWS or other vendors.
- Experience automating data-related tasks with scripts or programming languages.
- Familiarity with dbt and experience profiling, exploring, and analyzing data.
