Head of Thermal Engineering (AI)

hirify.global is a startup building Physics AI for hardware design, bridging traditional simulation with AI to redefine semiconductor development.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of thermal engineers across Asia.
• Collaborate with sales to lead technical discussions, proof-of-concept evaluations, and product demonstrations.
• Guide customer engineering teams through simulation setup, test cases, and result interpretation.
• Own customer enablement, including onboarding, training, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Act as a feedback channel to product and engineering teams to shape product direction.
• Represent the company at major industry conferences and semiconductor events.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in South Korea with ability to travel within Asia.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in thermal management and cooling solutions.
• Expert-level mastery of commercial simulation software like Flotherm, Ansys Icepak, or STAR-CCM+.
• Deep familiarity with semiconductor electronics packaging and foundry ecosystems.
• Practical programming experience in Python or C++ for workflow automation.
• Proven track record in managerial or technical leadership roles.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with structural mechanical simulations (FEA) or Signal/Power Integrity (SI/PI).
• Direct experience commercializing EDA or CAE simulation tools.
• Prior experience in technical pre-sales or strategic technical sales.
