What you will do

• Set the engineering vision and architect the platform that powers community-driven detection engineering.
• Build scalable infrastructure that transforms shared security intelligence into real-time threat protection.
• Lead the development of AI capabilities, customer-facing APIs, and developer platform experiences.
• Scale detection systems from thousands to millions of detections and process large volumes of telemetry.
• Architect resilient systems where reliability and minimizing downtime are critical.
• Build and develop a high-performing engineering organization, culture, and leadership pipeline.

Requirements

• Experience scaling systems from thousands to billions of events and engineering teams from startup to scale-up.
• Background in security infrastructure, malware analysis, threat detection, or high-scale telemetry systems.
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines, ETL, or continuous scanning infrastructure.
• Experience building customer-facing APIs or developer platforms with complex integrations.
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture and communicate trade-offs from engineering teams to board members.
• Systems thinking, community-oriented collaboration, and a track record of developing engineers into leaders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with detection logic such as YARA and Sigma.
• Experience with binary analysis or reverse engineering workflows.
