Pre-Access Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. Travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required as business needs dictate.

Salary: $72,900–$109,350 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Manage admitting, registration, patient access, and financial services operations across acute care locations.
• Oversee patient registration, medical necessity and compliance checks, insurance collection, physician orders, patient instructions, and customer service.
• Manage financial service representatives and ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, accounting processes, and patient account postings.
• Plan staffing needs, coordinate schedules, establish departmental goals, and improve operational performance.
• Monitor, interpret, and communicate performance data and monthly reports to support revenue cycle and patient satisfaction goals.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop supervisors and staff while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; healthcare management or administration is preferred.
• 2–3 years of management experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience with Microsoft applications is required.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and computer applications.
• Advanced use of AI and experience managing teams that apply AI to process and technology improvements.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States, with the ability to travel onsite when required.
