Director of Operations (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, limited to candidates residing in West Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or Tennessee

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive.

What you will do

• Own the region’s full P&L, including labor, supplies, expenses, and budget performance.
• Lead operational discipline, quality, safety, infection control, compliance, and standardized performance monitoring across health centers.
• Hire, coach, develop, and manage clinical and operational teammates while maintaining appropriate staffing and patient access.
• Coordinate workflows, optimize schedules, and resolve patient, client, and teammate concerns.
• Partner with onboarding teams to launch new centers and collaborate across clinical, operational, and shared-services functions.
• Drive regional visit volume, member engagement, participation, and client value.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, multisite services, or a comparable industry.
• Demonstrated full P&L responsibility for a large business unit or division.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams across clinical, operational, and business functions.
• Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, business judgment, and executive-level client partnership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
• Must reside in West Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or Tennessee.

Nice to have

• Experience in value-based healthcare, employer-sponsored healthcare, or population health management.
