Dynatrace Architect (Dynatrace)

Location: Halifax, Canada; remote work available, with occasional on-site work depending on organizational needs. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency due to Controlled Goods Program requirements.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain scalable Dynatrace monitoring solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
• Integrate Dynatrace with existing applications, infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
• Set up dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring for applications, services, and infrastructure.
• Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend optimization solutions.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, development, operations, support, and leadership teams on solution scope and rollouts.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting procedures, deliver customer demonstrations and training, and contribute to monitoring strategy and roadmaps.

Requirements

• Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency and legal authorization to work in Canada are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• 12+ years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience deploying and managing Dynatrace and a strong background in application performance monitoring and management.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and application development processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, decision-making, and executive-level presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Dynatrace Certified Associate or Dynatrace Certified Professional certification.
• Familiarity with Python or shell scripting.
