Solution Architect - Investment Technology

Location: North America; remote roles are specified for the United States, including Massachusetts, the New York Tri-State Area, Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Colorado. Travel may be required depending on client preference.

Salary: $125,000–$186,200 annual base salary, depending on compensation zone, experience, qualifications, and work location, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead front-office implementation delivery, including current-state analysis, requirements gathering, workflow design, configuration, integration, testing, and training documentation.
• Plan implementation projects, define statements of work, and coordinate delivery tasks, budgets, and timelines.
• Govern projects through status reporting, stakeholder communication, and progress monitoring.
• Lead developers and consultants while ensuring delivery aligns with specifications and industry best practices.
• Define technical methodologies covering SDLC, migration strategy, and quality assurance testing.
• Develop internal accelerators and oversee the handover of business and technical workflows to client teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in implementations, product management, or production support focused on front-office technology.
• Experience with platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, Bloomberg AIM, SimCorp, Finbourne, or Ridgeline.
• Deep knowledge of the asset and wealth management value chain, investment products, asset classes, and operating models.
• Expert SQL querying and database management skills, including complex reporting and investment data domains.
• Proficiency in data modelling, data governance, data quality management, and cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Azure.
• Ability to lead executive workshops, steering committees, implementation teams, and client-facing forums.

• Additional coding skills.
• Experience integrating cloud-based architectures.
• Expertise in at least two front- or middle-office areas, such as risk and analytics, compliance, portfolio management, trading, operations, reporting, reconciliation, or data governance.
