Director, Product Management – Medical Claims Platform (Healthcare)

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the vision, product strategy, investment priorities, and multi-year roadmap for the core medical claims platform.
• Define modernization priorities and future-state capabilities based on client needs, market trends, regulatory requirements, and technology evolution.
• Drive execution from requirements and backlog prioritization through development, release, adoption, and measurement.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Client Delivery, Compliance, Finance, and other stakeholders to align priorities, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Lead medical claims and payer-domain strategy covering claims adjudication, benefits configuration, pricing, provider reimbursement, eligibility, payment integrity, and health plan workflows.
• Engage clients and prospects, represent the platform in executive discussions and demonstrations, and lead and develop product management talent.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, health plan operations, product management, or a related field, including significant medical claims and payer platform experience.
• 5+ years of product leadership experience with enterprise healthcare platforms or complex transaction-processing solutions.
• Deep understanding of health plan claims administration and the payer ecosystem.
• Experience developing product strategies, executable roadmaps, measurable business outcomes, and preferably modernizing mature technology platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, interoperability, automation, APIs, cloud technologies, and emerging healthcare technology trends.
• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
