Technology Product Manager, Associate Director (Healthcare SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role in Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite attendance may be required for interviews and other recruitment activities.

Salary: $146,900–$262,400 USD annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own product strategy, roadmap priorities, and measurable outcomes for the core UpToDate experience and access capabilities.
• Improve registration, login, authentication, SSO, account, identity, permissions, and entitlement workflows across web and mobile products.
• Lead discovery, prioritization, experimentation, launch planning, and post-launch iteration for product improvements.
• Partner with engineering, UX, architecture, security, analytics, implementation, commercial, customer success, and support teams.
• Translate complex user, customer, technical, operational, and business needs into product requirements, decision frameworks, success metrics, and roadmap priorities.
• Balance usability, accessibility, reliability, security, technical feasibility, implementation complexity, cost, risk, and business impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in healthcare, enterprise SaaS, B2B software, workflow products, platform products, professional-information products, or similarly complex digital environments.
• Experience owning a meaningful product area, setting roadmap priorities, and delivering measurable outcomes across multiple capabilities or workstreams.
• Strong product discovery and execution skills, including customer research, requirements definition, prioritization, roadmap development, experimentation, launch planning, and metrics-driven decision-making.
• Technical fluency in user access, account experiences, authentication, identity, permissions, entitlements, enterprise administration, or implementation complexity.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, influencing, and cross-functional alignment skills.
• Ability to work in the Chicago hybrid environment and participate in onsite interviews when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SSO, authentication, identity management, account models, entitlements, permissions, registration, login, or enterprise access workflows.
• Background in healthcare technology, clinical decision support, regulated environments, accessibility requirements, or enterprise healthcare customers.
• Experience improving professional or enterprise web and mobile products and modernizing established products across multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare content, point-of-care tools, or professional-information products.
