Master Maintenance Mechanic (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Vacaville, California, United States; fully site-based

Salary: $70,500–$117,500 gross annual base salary, plus a performance-related bonus

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs to maximize manufacturing equipment availability.
• Execute maintenance work orders safely and document completed tasks according to SOPs, standards, and policies.
• Operate tools and shop equipment safely, including work at heights with fall protection and work positioners.
• Perform confined-space entry in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and site policies.
• Read piping and instrumentation drawings and technical manuals, and use CMMS and standard office applications.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, and Engineering; oversee contractors and vendors, support projects, and train other mechanics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong understanding of industrial process maintenance and systems, including the ability to complete complex assignments within defined parameters.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and calibration management programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability for day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. or night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.; the role supports 24/7 maintenance coverage.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
