BSL III Maintenance Technician

Location: Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite, second shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, with holidays, weekends, and mandatory overtime as required.

Salary: $27.60–$36.80 per hour.

What you will do

• Design, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair site-wide equipment across GMP, GLP, and non-GMP facilities.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial and process equipment, including pumps, motors, autoclaves, chillers, refrigerators, freezers, incubators, air handling units, valves, piping, and water systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical systems, including DC controls and single- and three-phase systems up to 480V.
• Execute work orders accurately and maintain complete maintenance documentation.
• Apply HSE procedures, including permits, permit-to-work processes, and lockout/tagout.
• Support reliable 24/7 operation of the BSL III production environment and continuous improvement of maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of equipment maintenance experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years of experience.
• In-depth equipment knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and an understanding of precision maintenance concepts.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, including electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP; knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems is helpful.
• Participation in the Medical Surveillance Program and FBI clearances is required.
• Ability to pass and maintain N95 and full-face respirator certification and support 24/7 BSL III facility coverage.
