2027 Summer Internship – Electrical Engineering

Location: Rosemead, California, US; hybrid work mode with required residence in California

What you will do

• Work on real-world challenges in the utility and energy sector.
• Collaborate with a mentor and cross-functional teams on assigned projects.
• Apply electrical engineering knowledge using industry-relevant software and tools.
• Present the assigned internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Build professional networks through intern events and demonstrate effective communication.
• Protect physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets and properly manage sensitive customer and company data.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Must reside in California unless otherwise noted; the role requires reporting to an SCE facility on scheduled days.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship.
• Transcripts will be verified during onboarding.
