Electrical Engineer I (SATCOM)

What you will do

• Contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems.
• Develop subcircuits and board designs from concept and architecture through schematic, layout, testing, production, and deployment.
• Perform circuit and system-level simulations using LTSpice.
• Implement microcontrollers and FPGAs in electronics designs.
• Conduct worst-case circuit, signal integrity, and power integrity analyses.
• Create bring-up plans and design verification plans for new circuit elements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Industry experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and testing.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and working knowledge of adjacent software and mechanical disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, or logic analyzers.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to ask questions and implement feedback.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Nice to have

• PCB layout experience with Altium, Cadence, or KiCad; Altium is preferred.
• Experience delivering subcircuits or board designs to production and deployment.
• Experience with microcontroller or FPGA implementations, LTSpice simulations, and signal or power integrity analysis.
