2027 Summer Internship – Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Energy)

Location: Palmdale, California, US. Hybrid work mode with required reporting to an SCE facility for a set number of days. Employees are generally required to reside in California.

Salary: $23.50–$34.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Work on real-world challenges and projects in the utility and energy sector.
• Collaborate with a mentor and cross-functional teams to apply engineering knowledge and develop practical skills.
• Use industry-relevant software and tools aligned with the field of study.
• Communicate project work effectively and present the assigned internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, medical, proprietary, and other sensitive information.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited institution.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship.
• Must reside in California unless otherwise noted.
