Sr. Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Provide financial analysis, guidance, and recommendations to company leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop financial and data models for expansion, new product development, real estate investments, special projects, and M&A activities.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for business segments, brands, and products to support strategic decisions.
• Own and support P&L management, profitability analysis, operating expense trends, business planning, budgeting, and cost accounting.
• Investigate variances, explain unexpected results, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Mentor and train junior finance team members and lead initiatives through successful completion.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in finance or a similar manufacturing environment and four years of experience in the position, including equivalent education where applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and VBA.
• Experience with financial ratios, analytics, large data-set extraction, data cleanup, and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Oracle or another ERP system experience is preferred; a master’s degree and experience managing people or projects are also preferred.
