Quality Inspector II (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, USA. Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform final dimensional and visual inspections across all value streams and conduct receiving inspections.
• Verify incoming parts against approved documentation, certifications, purchase orders, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Inspect complex, close-tolerance machined parts and sub-assemblies using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, optical comparators, height gauges, ring gauges, pin gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Participate in quality problem resolution, document nonconformances, and work with the Quality Engineer on corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment while meeting production deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of inspection experience in aerospace, military, or machining manufacturing.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 environment and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with aerospace customer flow-down requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an ERP system such as SAP.
• Ability to use precision inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators, oscilloscopes, and vision systems.
• Access to export-controlled commodities requires U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization.
