Quality Assurance Technician / Inspector (Aviation & Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of parts and materials.
• Use inspection equipment for basic dimensional and functional checks.
• Review drawings, work instructions, and specifications to verify product requirements.
• Maintain quality records and documentation for traceability and compliance.
• Support audits, nonconformance documentation, corrective actions, and supplier quality activities.
• Track quality data, metrics, and trends using Excel and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, or a related field; internships and school projects count.
• Ability to read basic technical documents, or willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to follow procedures.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.

Nice to have

• Coursework or training in manufacturing, engineering, or quality.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, or similar inspection tools.
• Familiarity with warehouse or production environments.
• Basic data tracking or reporting experience.
