Sr. Engineer - Product Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: Corp-Main - Diamond Bar, California, United States; 15% travel required

Salary: $111,766.36–$159,267.07 yearly

What you will do

• Lead multiple new product development projects from concept through commercialization, managing scope, capital budgets, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
• Review materials, packaging, formulations, equipment, process windows, and quality controls across the manufacturing process.
• Assess site readiness, capacity, utilities, tooling, and capabilities, and coordinate trials and ramp-up plans with Manufacturing.
• Partner with suppliers and Finance on timelines, alternate qualification, BOMs, yields, scrap, tooling, logistics, margins, and payback.
• Develop planning tools, dashboards, templates, stage-gate improvements, governance practices, and performance metrics.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to leadership while mentoring Level I and II engineers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position and managing people or projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple NPD projects through launch with measurable business impact.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, scale-up, commercialization, project management, and data tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and risk-mitigation skills.

Nice to have

• 6 years of experience in manufacturing, the position, and people or project management.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience creating custom templates and dashboards with Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, Power BI, PLM, or ERP tools.
