Sr Engineer, Manufacturing

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually, dependent on education and experience. Sign-on bonus available.

What you will do

• Develop, design, and implement assembly, testing, and packaging processes for electro-mechanical devices.
• Improve manufacturing and warehousing methods, layouts, workflows, capacity planning, and production efficiency.
• Lead or participate in projects involving product design, tooling, equipment, fixtures, quality improvements, and cost savings.
• Coordinate with production teams, suppliers, contract manufacturers, quality, procurement, and sustaining engineering.
• Identify and qualify production equipment, workstations, systems, and test fixtures.
• Represent operations in new product development and establish validation protocols for assembly and test processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Effective spoken and written English is required for policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communication.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, statistical analysis, and project management skills.
• Experience with electro-mechanical manufacturing processes, line design, and specifying and installing manufacturing equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of facility and construction processes, project management, mechanical, utility, and plant systems.
• Ability to read construction and process drawings.

Nice to have

• Experience with DELMIA Apriso / Apriso FlexNet MES.
• Experience with DELMIA Digital Manufacturing and Production Products.
• Hands-on experience with PLM, MRP, and ERP systems such as Documentum, TrackWise, Power Pick Global, Apriso, and SAP.
