What you will do

• Build tools that improve engineering productivity and enable self-service.
• Develop unified monitoring, logging, and error-handling systems.
• Improve infrastructure and software deployment processes.
• Partner with application teams to optimize application performance and system architecture.
• Research industry best practices and apply them to infrastructure engineering.
• Optimize and reduce cloud infrastructure costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable industry experience.
• 3+ years of prior experience as a Software Engineer or developer.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and cloud services including EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Experience with scripting, such as Python or Bash, and a compiled general-purpose language, such as Java or Golang.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for built systems.
