Industrial Electrician

Location: Prescott, Ontario, Canada. Work schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts.

Salary: $40.27/hour

What you will do

• Install, inspect, repair, and replace electrical wiring, fixtures, conduits, cabling, and conductor raceways.
• Plan and execute electrical installations using blueprints, schematics, sketches, and specifications.
• Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC motor drive systems and industrial electrical equipment.
• Read, program, and troubleshoot industrial PLC ladder logic, including Allen-Bradley systems.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults, test equipment, and repair or replace faulty components.
• Maintain and improve preventive and predictive maintenance systems while collaborating with the Electrical and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Valid electrician license: 309A or 442A.
• 3+ years of industrial or production experience with machine troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, operating, and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a safety- and quality-conscious approach.
• Ability to work onsite in Prescott, Ontario, on rotating 12-hour shifts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Parker and ABB motor drive systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
