Sr. Director Environmental Health & Safety

Location: On-site in Coralville, Iowa; Raleigh, North Carolina; Boulder, Colorado; Fargo, North Dakota; or Madison, Wisconsin. Must reside in the US. Relocation to Iowa is preferred. Travel is estimated at 40–50%, including 10% global travel.

Salary: $170,000–$240,000 annually, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop and implement IDT’s global EH&S and environmental sustainability strategy, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements, including environmental reporting.
• Lead facility EH&S reviews to identify hazards, define corrective and preventive measures, and verify their effectiveness.
• Coordinate internal, hirify.global, and external EH&S audits and drive action plans to resolve findings.
• Serve as IDT’s global contact for government agencies and represent IDT on the hirify.global EH&S Operations Leadership Council.
• Advise senior leadership on EH&S risks and business impacts while improving site performance against established goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience leading EH&S programs in a multi-site, global manufacturing organization.
• Broad EH&S expertise, including subject-matter knowledge, project and process leadership, and functional management.
• Ability to engage employees at all levels and build a collaborative, proactive EH&S culture.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Must reside in the US and be able to travel frequently to Coralville and other sites.

Nice to have

• EH&S licenses, certifications, or professional association membership.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, integration, risk, and liability management.
• Experience leading Business Continuity Planning and supervising BCP teams and activities.
