Staff Visual Product Designer, Design Systems

What you will do

• Define and evolve the visual language across enterprise product surfaces, including typography, color, layout, iconography, motion, data visualization, and interaction details.
• Own foundational design system elements such as design tokens, component states, responsive behaviors, theming, density, and platform adaptations.
• Create reusable patterns, principles, documentation, and enablement materials for product and engineering teams.
• Design and prototype system components and end-to-end experiences for complex, data-rich workflows in security, compliance, IT, legal, finance, and business contexts.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, Brand, and Design Systems teams to resolve visual, interaction, accessibility, performance, and scalability challenges.
• Influence product strategy, facilitate critiques and workshops, establish design reviews, measure system impact, and mentor product designers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing digital products, including significant visual product design experience in complex B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or similarly sophisticated environments.
• Exceptional visual design skills and a portfolio demonstrating strong systems thinking across components and end-to-end workflows.
• Experience creating, evolving, and scaling product design systems adopted by multiple product and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of design tokens, component architecture, responsive design, accessibility, and front-end implementation workflows.
• Excellent product thinking, communication, storytelling, facilitation, influencing, mentoring, and critique skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, IT, infrastructure, financial services, or another complex or regulated domain.
• Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with front-end technologies or design system implementation workflows.
• Experience using AI to amplify design capabilities and improve efficiency.
