TL;DR
Technical Project Manager (Mission Systems and Open Architectures): Leading the development, implementation, and verification of Government Reference Architectures for defense and national security systems with an accent on cost, schedule, performance, risk, and stakeholder management. Focus on guiding Agile industry-government teams, addressing capability gaps, and delivering interoperable open architecture products and standards.
Location: Onsite in Beavercreek/Dayton, Ohio, United States. Standard working hours with core hours from 0900 to 1500; travel requirement is 0–10%.

What you will do
- Manage cost, schedule, performance, and risks across contractual activities involving Government Reference Architectures.
- Lead multidisciplinary industry and government teams in developing and executing technical and programmatic strategies.
- Guide the maturation, verification, implementation, and adoption of open system architectures and standards.
- Engage stakeholders and incorporate adopter feedback into accessible architecture products and services.
- Support Agile execution planning and lead an industry consortium in delivering mission system solutions.
- Analyze capability gaps and technical risks, then develop mitigation plans and executable program strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- At least 3 years of technical execution experience and 5 years of technical program management experience.
- Strong technical proficiency and the ability to learn mission system software architectures.
- Experience managing deliverables, cost, schedules, simultaneous tasking, and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and consensus-building skills for working with government, industry, and subject-matter experts.
Nice to have
- At least 5 years of technical execution experience in a software-related discipline.
- At least 7 years of government acquisition program management experience.
- Experience in Special Access environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of DoD open architectures and standards such as AMS, OMS, or UCI.
