Operational Excellence Co-Op (MedTech)

What you will do

• Support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Excellence methodologies.
• Assist with process mapping, value stream mapping, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Develop project plans, track improvement initiatives, and participate in Kaizen and brainstorming activities.
• Support Lean and Six Sigma certification projects, including Yellow Belt initiatives.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, visual management tools, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions to improve business performance.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Completed or currently completing the third year of undergraduate studies.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts.
• Familiarity with statistical tools such as Minitab.
