Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States; ability to travel to the Raritan site is required

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour

What you will do

• Design, fabricate, and test prototypes, fixtures, tooling, and components using CAD and rapid prototyping.
• Create part, assembly, and drawing files in SolidWorks.
• Develop and execute test methods to characterize new products.
• Evaluate prototypes in engineering lab, bench-top, animal, and cadaver models.
• Coordinate project activities with engineers, marketing, outside suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct literature reviews and document engineering activities in technical reports.

Requirements

• Be a junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited college or university during the co-op.
• Have engineering coursework and laboratory experience.
• Be able to create and modify CAD drawings and design test fixtures.
• Demonstrate strong organization, documentation, self-management, and teamwork skills.
• Be permanently authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Commit to a 40-hour work week during the Spring 2027 semester and travel to the Raritan, New Jersey site; relocation is not provided.

Nice to have

• Major in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with SolidWorks or LabVIEW.
• Leadership or participation in campus programs or community service.
