Senior Commercial Lines Account Representative, Select (Commercial Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role in Overland Park, Kansas, or Bloomington, Minnesota

Salary: $65,000 per year, plus a target incentive of 5%

What you will do

• Support Account Managers with client service, retention, and growth for Select Commercial Lines accounts.
• Review and process policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates, and policyholder updates.
• Request carrier information, complete online rating and endorsement processes, and maintain accurate agency management system records.
• Support renewals by gathering information, completing applications, preparing proposals, and participating in client meetings.
• Process policy invoices, including complex invoicing assignments, and manage carrier service center escalations.
• Independently service a limited number of clients while developing the skills needed for an Account Manager role.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial property and casualty insurance agency.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and client service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, prioritize work, and maintain attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Resourcefulness, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback, coaching, and professional development.
