Account Executive - Commercial Lines (Insurance)

Location: In-person client support and on-site client visits are required; a Florida 220 Property & Casualty license is required.

What you will do

• Support producers and commercial clients by phone, email, and through ongoing in-person consulting.
• Handle coverage questions, insurance contract inquiries, claims issues, billing matters, and service escalations.
• Coordinate commercial account renewals, including data collection, carrier marketing, proposal reviews, and renewal presentations.
• Support new-business opportunities by analyzing prospects, coordinating carrier proposals, and preparing client presentations.
• Compare coverage options, negotiate rates and terms with carriers and vendors, and maintain accurate client records.
• Monitor continuing education requirements and maintain compliance with insurance licensing standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Florida 220 Property & Casualty license required.
• Ability to conduct client consultations and on-site client visits.
• Ability to coordinate renewals, proposals, carrier communications, and client presentations.

Nice to have

• Insurance designation equivalent to AAI or CIC.
• Experience with Epic software.
