Salary: $125,062.20–$169,201.80 annual

What you will do

  • Lead engineering and maintenance support for pharmaceutical product assembly, labeling, and packaging lines.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of maintenance and engineering personnel across commercial operations.
  • Provide on-the-floor troubleshooting, equipment triage, field support, and process improvement to reduce production downtime.
  • Develop and improve maintenance strategies, job plans, spare-parts lists, preventive maintenance programs, and SOPs.
  • Evaluate equipment and instrumentation failure history and implement improvements for safety, compliance, efficiency, and work-order execution.
  • Manage selected maintenance service providers and coordinate communication through daily tier meetings, escalation processes, and vendor engagement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline with 3 years of related experience; or bachelor’s degree with 5 years; associate degree with 10 years; or high school diploma/GED with 12 years.
  • Direct people-management experience or leadership experience directing teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
  • Experience repairing mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment; packaging equipment experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical proficiency, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, organizational, and technical writing skills.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, computer serialization, packaging equipment, and vision inspection systems such as Cognex and Systech.
  • Educational background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
