Sr Pharmacy Strategy Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support leadership with Medical Drug strategy development, planning, and implementation projects.
• Develop initiatives and programs that support growth and improve product and service affordability.
• Conduct discovery work, build business cases, and analyze competitive intelligence, internal financials, and secondary research.
• Synthesize data into clear insights, recommendations, and implications for decision-making.
• Develop key performance indicators and performance metrics for Medical Drug programs.
• Partner with network, national account sales, and other stakeholders to identify, solution, and implement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or MBA degree and 5 years of general industry experience, or 2 years of consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm.
• Knowledge of corporate strategy or transformation, with experience formulating, planning, or implementing strategic and transformative efforts.
• Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate insights, and prioritize opportunities.
• Experience managing complex projects and resolving complex problems with some oversight.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced, evolving organization.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, MD, JD, or PhD.
• Healthcare industry experience, especially in the pharmacy value chain.
• Experience with corporate, growth, or product strategy, or business case development.
