Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant (Emerging Pharma)

Location: San Diego, California, or South San Francisco, California, United States. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices; client-facing travel is required as needed.

Salary: $160,000–$177,000 annually.

What you will do

• Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop the approach.
• Lead project task execution, organize project data, coordinate team meetings, and ensure progress.
• Analyze client issues, develop hypotheses, and design qualitative and quantitative analyses to test them.
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate results to clients and internal teams.
• Provide thought leadership, contribute to business development and internal firm activities.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• MBA with a bachelor's degree, and often a graduate degree, plus a strong academic record in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field; alternatively, a PhD in marketing, economics, decision sciences, or a related field with a business application.
• In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 5–8 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• Up to 3 years of post-MBA relevant work experience and 3–5 years of pre-MBA work experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, synthesis, communication, attention to detail, and quality-focused skills.
• Ability and motivation to lead and manage teams, with maturity, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for influencing senior-level decision makers.
• Client service orientation, client-first mentality, collaborative spirit, and innovative outlook.
• Fluency in English required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
