Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; 100% onsite

Salary: $47,500–$51,300 per year

What you will do

  • Perform experiments investigating epigenetic and transcriptional regulation in cancer models.
  • Apply genomic techniques including RNA and DNA extraction, nuclei isolation, single-cell technology, spatial transcriptomics, ATAC-seq, and ChIP-seq.
  • Set up, calibrate, maintain, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Produce high-quality data, analyze and interpret experimental results, and prepare reports, presentations, grant materials, and manuscripts.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, manage computer data files, and follow laboratory safety and standard operating procedures.
  • Order reagents and supplies, collaborate with Purchasing and vendors, and support laboratory budgets and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in biology or chemistry; no prior professional experience is required.
  • Knowledge of biology, chemistry, or medicine-related information and techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with faculty and staff.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, thoroughness, and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.
