Turbine Operator (Gas Turbine Power Generation)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain gas turbine packages and related power generation equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor control panels, gauges, instruments, and operational parameters.
• Coordinate with the Remote Operations Center on fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate equipment readiness after shutdowns and assist with installation and commissioning of power generation assets.
• Lead equipment troubleshooting, perform walk-around inspections, and maintain operational and maintenance records.
• Support power generation efficiency initiatives and maintain housekeeping and HSE standards.

Requirements

• At least one year of gas turbine operations or electrical experience.
• Experience reading electrical and control drawings.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work 12+ hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response situations.
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding activities, including climbing ladders and occasionally lifting or moving up to 80 pounds.
• Clear verbal and written communication and the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Solar SMT turbine packages.
