Maintenance Mechanic - Turbine (14/14 Rotation Schedule) (Turbomachinery)

Location: Mentone, Texas, United States; 14/14 rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gas-fired turbines, turbomachinery, centrifugal compressors, piping systems, and industrial equipment.
• Provide technical support for equipment installation, operation, capital project commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, condition monitoring, and performance assessments.
• Support root-cause failure analysis and incident investigations for rotating equipment.
• Maintain and repair leaking valves, pumps, connectors, and other equipment as part of the air quality monitoring program.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and regulatory-compliant maintenance documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on nights, weekends, and holidays according to the rotation schedule.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, computerized maintenance management systems, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout practices.

Nice to have

• Experience monitoring gas-fired turbines and associated equipment, including documenting corrective-action recommendations.
• Experience performing maintenance work associated with Solar Turbines, including seal replacements, bundle swaps, and engine swings.
