Electrician (Well Service Equipment)

Location: Midland, Texas, United States; onsite field work involving customer locations, well service equipment, and company vehicle operation.

What you will do

• Maintain, start up, operate, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment used to control and power well service equipment.
• Respond to electrical problems on equipment and at customer locations using telephone, radio, and other communication methods.
• Coordinate with warehouses to maintain sufficient E-Fleet spare parts inventory.
• Service, inspect, and maintain the company vehicle and perform general property maintenance.
• Attend required technical, safety, and HSE training and report hazards using stop work authority when necessary.
• Work extended, alternative, holiday, and weekend shifts and remain on call when required.

Requirements

• Current, valid Journeyman Electrician license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; at least one year of Journeyman Electrician experience preferred.
• Technical Associate’s degree preferred and may substitute for experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment used in well servicing and current knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70 requirements.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints, use diagnostic tools, learn work-related software, lift up to 50 pounds, and work safely around moving parts, fumes, chemicals, noise, and extreme weather.
