Customer Service Associate (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage customer accounts and inquiries related to global orders, deliveries, pricing, and service issues.
• Support order entry, order changes, lead times, production status, shipping coordination, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants, planners, logistics, supply chain, quality, and sales teams across multiple regions.
• Resolve moderately complex issues such as backorders, partial shipments, delivery delays, and product substitutions.
• Coordinate returns, warranty claims, RMAs, international shipment documentation, and trade compliance procedures.
• Document interactions and resolutions in ERP and CRM systems, escalate high-risk issues, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or global business environment.
• Strong customer focus, organization, time management, communication, and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt to changing production and business needs.
• Ability to work in an office environment in Dayton, Ohio.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of SAP Order Entry experience.
• Cultural awareness and experience supporting international shipments.
